•# of seconds that a filled order remains on Chart/DOM

When doing chart or DOM trading, the trading capsule of an order that has just been filled will remain on the screen (in blue) for this many seconds, then disappear.

▪Double-click on BID/ASK to open a trade ticket

If checked, double-clicking on a symbol's Bid or Ask column in a portfolio will open a trade ticket for that symbol, filling in the quantity according to the Accounts' Quantity settings.

▪Double-click on LAST to open a trade ticket

If checked, double-clicking on a symbol's Last column in a portfolio will open a trade ticket for that symbol, filling in the quantity according to the Accounts' Quantity settings.

▪In Trade Ticket: use Action Buttons (Buy, Sell, etc.) instead of a dropdown selection

If this option is not checked, the Trade Ticket window will have a dropdown selection box that contains the possible actions (Buy, Sell, etc.) and a Send Trade button. If this option is checked, the Trade Ticket will, instead, have the separate Buy, Sell, etc. buttons.

▪Level II double-click restricts trade ticket QTY

When you double-click on an entry in the Level II window, a trade ticket will open for the symbol. This setting controls how the Quantity field is filled in on the trade ticket. If checked, the field will contain whatever the quantity is on the clicked row in the Level II window. If not checked, the quantity will be determined according to the Accounts' Quantity settings.

▪Do not use default QTY on the trade ticket

If this is checked, the Accounts' Quantity settings will be ignored when filling the trade ticket on opening it.

▪Confirm all transactions before submitting

If checked, this will cause a confirmation dialog to pop up to confirm a trade before it is sent to the brokerage.

▪Clear trade ticket after successful order submission

If checked, all fields on the trade ticket will be cleared after the order has been send to the brokerage.

▪Show notification of a successful order submission

If checked, Medved Trader will pop up a notification dialog when the order is successfully sent to the brokerage.

▪Show Account View / Transactions after submitting new order

If checked, and there is no Account View / Transactions window open at the time a new order is submitted, opens that window.

▪DOM - Automatic Order Type

If checked, when placing a DOM order using the mouse, automatically selects the order type (Limit or Stop) depending on where the order is placed. If not checked, it's always a Limit order, unless modified by using the key.

▪DOM - Quick Order Button Default

For the two colored order buttons under the DOM display, determines what is shown on them when no modifier key ( or ) is pressed.
